About me

Hello!

Hi I’m Alice!

Yoga teacher, movement facilitator, and a firm believer in the power of movement to transform how you feel about yourself.

I first turned to yoga to calm my mind and ease my IBS symptoms, but it quickly became so much more. Yoga showed me how to slow down, truly listen to my body, and embrace it with compassion. Looking back now, I see how disconnected I had been from myself during years of professional dance training and I’m here to help you find that connection and joy in your own way.

Let's chat

Movement has always been a huge part of my life

I started dancing at the age of two and went on to train professionally at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance.

Dance taught me discipline and artistry, but it also came with immense pressure and constant scrutiny. Hours in front of mirrors, constant comparison, and chasing perfection left me feeling insecure, negative, and completely disconnected from my body.

The truth is, I didn’t realise just how disconnected I was until I found yoga.

When yoga came in

During lockdown in 2020, I turned to yoga as a way to manage my IBS, something I’d struggled with for years but never properly addressed. What started as a physical practice to ease discomfort quickly became something deeper.

Yoga helped me slow down and shift my focus inward. It taught me to appreciate my body for how it feels, not how it looks. It became my anchor, a way to move through life with more confidence, ease, and self-acceptance.

Having experienced the transformative power of yoga firsthand, I'm really excited to share the tools and lessons that helped me reconnect with myself, so you can do the same.

WHAT I BELIEVE

ABOUT YOGA

My approach to teaching yoga is rooted in inclusivity, curiosity, and self-expression. I believe that yoga is about so much more than flexibility or achieving the "perfect pose." It’s about tuning into what feels right for your body, moving with intention, and embracing your unique journey.

In my classes, there’s no pressure to perform, no judgment, and no comparison, just a space for you to move, explore, and connect with yourself. I focus on how movement feels rather than how it looks, creating a safe, playful environment where you can let go of expectations and truly enjoy the experience of being in your body.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible teachers who have guided me along the way. They have shaped me into the teacher I am today, and I’m forever grateful for their wisdom, support, and for providing me with the tools to share this beautiful practice with you.

My first teacher training was a 200-hour Vinyasa course with Yoga Haven under Allie Hill. Since then, I’ve completed 30 hours of Hands-On Assists training with Evolution Lab Yoga under Amy McDonald, 60 hours of Pranayama and Breathwork with Laurent Roure, 30 hours of Mobility Training and 50 hours of Awakening Yoga with Awakening Yoga Academy.
